A proud Texan, Stephanie grew up in Fort Worth (not Dallas) and wears her cowboy boots every chance she gets. She is fluent in Spanish and has studied and traveled to many regions in Mexico and Spain, immersing herself in the Spanish-speaking culture.
At Engage Stephanie manages media outreach and specializes in policy communications in the energy and technology sectors. As Social Strategy Director she works with Engage clients to build highly personalized social media strategies that effectively reach the ideal target audience for the project.
Prior to working at Engage, Stephanie was a member of the marketing team and a writer at Newsy, a multisource news analysis company based in Columbia, Mo. She specialized in technology analysis and blogger outreach. Stephanie also worked as a website editor and producer at KOMU-TV, the NBC affiliate for mid-Missouri. There she developed social media strategies and managed the station’s website.
Stephanie is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism and has a dual-degree in convergence journalism and Spanish. When she’s not on Twitter or Facebook, she enjoys cooking, reading, watching Dallas Cowboys football and cheering on the Mizzou Tigers.
