Prior to Engage, Michele managed social media for a 2010 Congressional campaign at a DC-based start up, interned for the London Daily Telegraph’s Washington bureau, worked in the publications department of a large DC church, interned at the Massachusetts State House, and helped found a student-run political blog with over 20 writers. She also campaigned for McCain-Palin in three states in 2008. Now a reformed Democrat, her first foray into politics was an internship with the Massachusetts Democratic Party while in high school.
Michele is a graduate of the George Washington University, where she studied international economics and focused on fixed exchange rate systems. She led the Colonials for Life, GW’s pro-life student organization, and the Canterbury Club, the Episcopal student organization. As a junior, she received a scholarship from the German government towards an intensive summer course on Political and Economic German at Heidelberg University.
A Massachusetts native, Michele lives in Washington, DC.
